ARTIST'S INSPIRATION
"Rooted in Blue" is a reflection of my journey to New Zealand, a place where the vibrant hues of the ocean contrast with the mountain landscapes I’ve always called home. Having grown up surrounded by rugged peaks, the transition to a coastal environment filled with rich blues and ever-changing waters deeply influenced this piece. The vessel’s striking color captures that transformation, while the 14k gold enamel finial, shaped like delicate roots, symbolises my connection to both my past and my evolving present.
